Why tools.danieldiaz.dev lives apart from ECORPA

ECORPA is the company product. Tools is the workshop I keep open: utilities for the day to day that should never be confused with the system we sell.

ECORPA and tools.danieldiaz.dev sit on the same internet, under my name, and they are not the same thing. Mixing them would feel convenient. It would also be dishonest.
ECORPA exists so talent and staffing teams in Colombia can affiliate, verify, and validate people without living inside a dozen portals. It is a product with customers, obligations, and a bar for reliability. When something breaks there, someone else's hiring timeline breaks with it. Tools is the opposite kind of surface. QR codes, a shortener, PDF and image helpers, business-day counts, WhatsApp links, GymTracker — small utilities for the day to day. They should stay useful, honest about what they do, and free of the weight of a B2B product.
If I bury tools inside ECORPA, two bad things happen. Visitors looking for a quick utility land inside a company story they did not ask for. And people evaluating ECORPA meet side experiments that dilute the product. Separation keeps the promises clean. ECORPA does not have to pretend every idea is a feature. Tools does not have to pretend every utility is enterprise software. My personal site can point to both without forcing them to share a funnel.
The craft is the same: ship something people can use, skip vanity claims, start from a real workflow. GymTracker is a habit system for me; ECORPA is an operations system for teams. Different users. Same allergy to theater. tools.danieldiaz.dev will keep linking to ECORPA and to this site. That is intentional. Cross-links explain the person behind the work. They should not collapse the products into one brand. If you need the company, go to ecorpa.com. If you need a small tool for today, go to tools. This blog is where I explain why that split exists.
